Shruti S Agarwal, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India

Social Entrepreneurship is gaining relevance since few years and involvement of women is giving it a totally new perspective. The paper is a systematic literature review from the year 2003-2023 where papers are taken from Web of Science on Social Women Entrepreneurship in India. Evidence of the benefits of entrepreneurial activity in reducing poverty and the untapped potential of women, particularly those residing in rural regions, have piqued the attention of academics and policymakers in the economic life of women in growing nations. Social and cultural barriers which limit women's access to freedom, networks, education, and movement have contributed to centuries of gender inequity. As demonstrated, social entrepreneurship also helps to advance social change and women's empowerment. In this paper we focus on the thematic analysis and literature review of the social women entrepreneurship where the shortcomings can be covered and help women grow in social entrepreneurship.
