In 2021, WHO estimated that 26 percent of women have experienced intimate partner violence (IPV) at least once in their lifetime. In Kenya, 2022 Kenya Demographic and Health Survey (KDHS) estimates IPV (physical, sexual, or psychological/emotional) is at 28 percent. Therefore, this analysis will contribute to informing policy and programming. The analysis focused on top five and bottom five counties in terms of IPV based on 2022 KDHS. A total of 2,180 (1,434 in high and 746 in low) have had a husband/partner. Multivariate analysis was done to establish association of the selected factors with different forms of IPV. Physical and emotional violence are more prevalent than sexual violence in all the counties. Education of women and husband working status are associated with other forms of intimate partner violence except sexual. Religion on is only associated with physical violence and number of living children is only associated with emotional violence. Decision making on use of family planning is only associated with sexual violence. Husband/partner education and use of alcohol are associated any other form of intimate partner violence. All associations are positive and significant (p=0.05). Implement the WHO RESPECT framework outlining action-oriented strategies to prevent violence against women
