This presentation reflects on the concept of reproductive justice as it relates to Aotearoa, New Zealand. It explores the historical and ongoing inequities faced by Maori the Indigenous Peoples of Aotearoa, New Zealand. This talk will explore how colonial policies and attitudes have systematically undermined Maori reproductive autonomy and rights, leading to significant disparities in health outcomes and access to reproductive health services. This presentation emphasizes the importance of decolonizing reproductive health frameworks, identifying racism of all forms, and incorporating Indigenous knowledge and leadership to restore justice and equity. This session aims to foster a discussion on dismantling systemic barriers in reproductive health to achieve health justice.
