Adolescent parenthood poses both health and socio-economic problems. In Ouagadougou, the onset of parenthood among these young men puts them under considerable social pressure because they have to take charge of the child and the mother. This situation is not without consequences for their empowerment and schooling. It is particularly important to gain a better understanding of the experiences of these teenage mothers and, above all, the consequences this has on their empowerment and their future, especially as they are likely to be part of the country's human capital. Secondary data collected from teenage mothers will help to document these many consequences.
