This poster will introduce brand new U.S. nationally representative data from Wave VI of the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health (Add Health) to the worldwide population sciences community. Add Health is a nationally representative study of 20,745 adolescents in grades 7-12 in 1994-95 who have been followed ever since. Wave VI of Add Health has been in the field since 2022 and has collected innovative survey, cognitive, physical functioning, biological, contextual, and mortality data on this cohort, who now range in age from 40-49 years of age. The poster will describe the Add Health cohort and methods of Wave VI data collection, and will report on retention rates. This poster will also feature brand new descriptive data that will provide a snapshot of the cohort's health at this stage of the life course. The PI and Director of Add Health, Robert Hummer, will be present to discuss the innovative Wave VI data collection process and the novel measures that are available. He will also have information on hand that outlines how researchers can obtain the data files through the Add Health contract process.
