This article examines the profiles of migrants in Tunisia based on data from the HIMS-2021 survey, the first survey of international migration to and from Tunisia. The analysis is based on socio-demographic indicators such as level of education, marital status and region of residence prior to departure, crossing several key variables. The aim is to identify the determinants of job-related migration. To achieve this, a probit model was used, where the dependent variable is a binary variable indicating whether the individual migrates to seek employment. Marginal effects were used to interpret the coefficients of the explanatory variables. Determinants of labor migration include gender, marital status and number of children.
