Introduction of the Affiliated Institutions Program

Nico Van Nimwegen, IUSSP Council / Netherlands Interdisciplinary Demographic Institute (NIDI)

The Council of the IUSSP cordially invites population centers and programs from across the world to join this special session of IPC 2025. This is an informal session where networking is key. The session allows you to get to know the IUSSP as well as fellow population centers and programs. In a "townhall" setting, we will discuss how IUSSP can foster closer collaboration with worldwide partners to address topics of common interest to better serve the global population community. Hoping to attract many new institutional members, the session will introduce the recently launched IUSSP Affiliated Institutional Members program (https://iussp.org/en/affiliation-iussp) and present the frontrunning Institutional Members who will kickoff the discussion.
